If you’re sick, log it in Hrvey and give your circle a heads-up. Dokter Jones is our occupational health service, and from six weeks the Re-iintegrator helps you return. Sick pay in the Netherlands is 100% for months 1 to 6, 85% for 7 to 12 and 70% for 13 to 24; the UK rules are here too.

Everyone gets sick from time to time. That's just life — and we want to support you through it.

Whether it's a rough few days or something longer, Luscii aims to balance your needs with those of the company in a fair way. We work with an external service called Dokter Jones, which gives everyone at Luscii access to occupational health doctors. In the Netherlands, you also have direct access to a GP through your standard health insurance. If you can't discuss something with your GP, or if it's work-related, you can always make an appointment with Dokter Jones.

Short-term sick leave

When you're sick and unable to work — even partially — report it via Hrvey by logging the days you expect to be off, or each day as it comes:

Book sick leave on today

Book sick leave from today to [date]

If you're able to, give your circle a heads-up so urgent work can be redistributed. When you're better, simply stop logging sick days. Need to correct entries? Reach out to the Leave Tracker.

A couple of things worth knowing:

Calling in sick vs. working from home

We're all human. Some days you just can't do anything — and that's okay, call in sick.

But if you're feeling a bit off and can still work, remember you already have the flexibility to work from home whenever you need it. Use that first. Sick leave is for when you genuinely can't work.
