You get an 8% holiday allowance, paid monthly. In the Netherlands you also get a BeFrank pension (4% from you, 4% from Luscii). From Connector Master or Luminary Medior up, you get a €1,340 monthly mobility allowance that replaces other mobility reimbursements.

This chapter covers the things you receive as part of your compensation package at Luscii. Think salary-related extras and long-term arrangements, not “how to expense a train ticket” (we keep that fun for a different page).
On top of your monthly salary, you receive an 8% holiday allowance. Many companies in the Netherlands pay this out once a year (often in May). We don’t. We include it in your monthly salary instead.
The idea is straightforward: it’s your money, so you decide when to use it. Holiday now, holiday later, or simply a bit more breathing room month to month. Even though “holiday allowance” isn’t a standard concept in the UK and Germany, we include the same 8% in UK and German salaries as well, so that, within the boundaries of local law, everyone is treated as consistently as possible.
One thing to know: no salary in a month means no 8% in that month either. What else pauses while you’re on unpaid leave is covered in During unpaid leave.
In the Netherlands, we offer a modern, interactive pension plan via BeFrank. Luscii and the employee each contribute 4% of your pension base (a calculation largely based on your salary) into your pension plan.
You can also make extra pension contributions, either one-off or monthly. If you want to do that, inform the Payroll Keeper so the additional amount can be deducted from your salary. Extra contributions always start on the first day of the following month.
For colleagues outside the Netherlands, pension arrangements are handled via Oyster and depend on the country you’re employed in.
For what happens to your pension while you’re on unpaid leave, see During unpaid leave.
We've moved away from a traditional lease car policy in favour of a monthly mobility allowance of €1,340, available to Lusciians in the Connector Master or Luminary Medior profile and above.
The idea is simple: you decide what mobility looks like for you. Whether that's private lease, buying a car, public transport, car sharing, or a combination: the choice is yours.
A few things to keep in mind:
